InductiveHealth Informatics is excited to announce its new and important partnership with the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) to offer the Electronic Surveillance System for the Early Notification of Community-based Epidemics (ESSENCE) as a software-as-a-service (SaaS) capability. ESSENCE, developed by APL, is a robust disease surveillance system. It is used by more than 25 jurisdictions at local, state, regional, and national levels, including CDC’s National Syndromic Surveillance Program.
This partnership optimizes InductiveHealth’s innovative capabilities in advanced SaaS and health data integration within the public health domain as well as APL’s strengths in research and development of ESSENCE.
